They drank and drank and drank under the stars, spinning around the pulsing of the moon.

Time froze and the dark universe receded like a glacier in time-lapse.

Every chunk of rock and every burning ball of gas and every cell and every atom transmuted into one.

“We’re infinite right now. Don’t you see it?” she whispered.

He sniggered at the sky, and in that instant he was him and she was her again.
