Forgiveness – Austin L. Wiggins

I wish I could take this life from you as you have taken others. You were a man survived by war and destruction and those things nurtured you into a beast. I cannot forgive you for your new temperaments. You rage about like a typhoon with your emotions and when it lands on your victim you don’t care nor does it phase you. When you struck me because I looked like the woman who had tried to kill you when you were overseas, I endured. But I couldn’t understand, you never tried to help me understand. There is nothing between us but unsigned documents, and in all of this you haven’t dared to say sorry. That’s why I can’t forgive you.
